Según el artículo 2º y Párrafo 4º de la Ley 18695 “Orgánica Constitucional de Municipalidades”, en lo referente a Organización interna se postula que las municipalidades estarán constituidas por el Alcalde, que será su máxima autoridad, y por el Concejo
Al Alcalde y a los concejales les serán aplicables las normas sobre probidad administrativa establecidas en la Ley Nº 18575.
